MHU Race Overview:

The 47 mile race is an out and back starting from Abberley Village Hall, WR6 6AZ, predominantly following the Worcestershire Way, turning at Sally’s Place, British Camp, and back to Abberley Village Hall. It is strongly recommended that competitors use and follow the downloadable race gpx file.

The 38 mile race starts from CP1 which is the Admiral Rodney, WR6 6PL
The 31 mile race starts from CP2 which is the Post Office in Suckley, WR6 5DU
The 23 mile race starts from CP3 which is Sally's Place, British Camp, WR13 6DW

Route Profile for the MHU (Out & Back)

Ascent – 2,941m Descent – 2,941m Distance – 47 miles

The gpx file provided is showing the 'out' route, but you simply reverse the same gpx on the'back' route. The same gpx file is used for all the other distances, as they occupy part of the same route.

Malvern Hills Ultra entrants can choose various race distances, between 23, 31, 38, & 47. The total ascent of the 47 mile race is just under 10,000 ft,

Entry fees include a contribution to the Malvern Hills Conservators, who look after the paths and hills that we use.
